1910s Ice Box

Blueprint from Juli Gessner, worked on with Abigale Brown. Started with cutting out pieces from wood and assembling. Bought hardware and attached. Made interior shelves out of cookie cooling trays on brackets.
1860s Coat Rack

Made blueprint off research image. Started with a wood box as the base, and made it into an oval with cut down cardboard tubing. Routed out the arms after making one as a template. Knobs were made out of wooden mushrooms. Side posts were railings. Added on the umbrella holder last after making a draft out of cardboard. Painted on woodgrain texture. Built with students’ help.

Blueprint done by Rowan Doe. Construction was done with Michaela Lochen’s guidance. Cut out and assembled, spray painted, then sealed.

The design was made by Michaela Lochen, and construction was done by the two of us. Cut out and assembled, painted with woodgrain texture, sealed, and put on wheels.
Wooden Rabbit

Made a template and cut out of wood. Sand, stained, and sealed. Later added lauan cutouts to the ears for more durability.
