Done by Michaela Lochen and myself with guidance from Rowan Doe. Started with stripping the old fabric, re-did the webbing on the bottom and inside. Patterned new fabric off of old’s dimensions. Added on new fabric, trim, and tacks.
Livingroom Chairs

Took off seat and replaced with gold fabric. Took off backrest fabric, reinserted cushioning, and replaced with gold fabric.
Bench

Added new webbing, supplemented the old wool stuffing with more cushioning, and covered in a muslin layer for any future reupholstery. Added striped fabric and trim and did any touch ups on the wood.
Armchair

Stripped off top layer of fabric, added a muslin layer on the backrest so the stuffing stayed in place for any future reupholstery, then added on new fabric and trim. Touched up scuffs on the wood.
Dining Chairs

Stripped the pre-existing three layers of fabric then added the desired floral pattern. Finished with attaching cushions back onto chairs
Arm Chairs

Stripped the blue fabric then added the desired green pattern. Finished with gluing on trim.

Started with stripping off the original two layers of fabric. Then added the green fabric. The trim was done by Michaela Lochen.
Writing Desk Chair

Stripped the pre-existing dark layer of fabric then added the desired striped pattern. Touched up any scuffs with Old English.
Piano Bench

Was originally a side table that had been repaired before, but it needed to function as a piano bench. Took apart all the joints and reglued back together, then added cushioning, fabric, and trim.
Upholstered Bench

Stripped the pre-existing fabric, added in new webbing. Then added on new floral fabric. Worked on with Hannah Spangler.

Found matching fabric in stock and stapled on. Replaced trim on the whole chair. Done with students’ help.
